Flu Vaccine Clinics - U.S.

The best way to reduce your risk of seasonal flu and its potentially serious complications is to get vaccinated every year. During Fall 2024, Caterpillar will once again offer many onsite employee influenza vaccination clinics across the U.S.

Note: Only active Caterpillar employees are eligible to receive a flu shot at a Caterpillar clinic. For dependents enrolled in a Caterpillar health plan, flu shots are covered 100% when administered by an in-network provider as a preventive service. Contact your insurance carrier with questions or to verify if an urgent care/medical office is in network. For questions regarding coverage under your pharmacy benefit, contact Magellan Rx.

All Caterpillar-sponsored flu clinics offer influenza-only vaccines. We are not offering any combination or COVID vaccines onsite. To schedule a COVID vaccine or booster, please contact your primary healthcare provider, in-network pharmacy, or local health department.

Please bring your Caterpillar badge with you to your appointment and remember to wear a shirt or undershirt with sleeves that can be rolled up to the shoulder. Note: You should not receive a flu vaccine if…

  • You have a severe allergy to chicken eggs.
  • You had a previous severe reaction to an influenza vaccination.
  • You developed Guillain-Barré syndrome within six weeks of receiving an influenza vaccination.
  • You have a moderate to severe illness with a fever (wait until you have recovered to get vaccinated).

Please download and print your 2024 Influenza Vaccination Consent in advance and bring your completed form with you to the clinic.
