What is TELUS Health?
TELUS Health is the digital platform for Caterpillar’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). TELUS Health can be accessed online or through the TELUS Health One app, which can be downloaded for free in your device’s app store.
TELUS Health is available in 47 languages and includes 24/7 access to Caterpillar's confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Some of the features include:
- Local phone numbers for Caterpillar’s global EAP
- Easy access to EAP support through email or chat
- Information, self-assessments, and resources to support physical, emotional, social and financial well-being
- Newsfeed to help stay connected with other Caterpillar employees and families
- Invite family members to log on and create a profile
- Perks and savings (available in select locations)
About TELUS Health
LifeWorks is becoming TELUS Health.
In 2022, Caterpillar’s longtime Global Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, Lifeworks, joined TELUS Health. Over the coming months, Lifeworks will gradually transition to be known as TELUS Health. While you will begin seeing the new brand representing our EAP, Caterpillar’s EAP services will remain unchanged.
How do I access TELUS Health?
If you are only searching for global EAP access phone numbers, see chart below or click here, then click “Get Help Now” on the right side of the screen.
Getting started with the TELUS Health digital platform is easy.
Option 1 (For employees using CWS login)
- Log onto caterpillar.lifeworks.com or download the TELUS Health One app.
- Click “Log In” (Do NOT select “Create an account”).
- When prompted, enter your Caterpillar email address (Note: You must use your email address ending in @cat.com), then click “Continue.”
- Click the “Let’s Go” button.
- Enter your CWS credentials to log on with single sign-on.
- Click "Log In."
- Complete as much or little of your profile as you choose.
*Note: Completing a TELUS Health profile allows you to customize the site to your interests. Your profile makes you visible on TELUS Health and allows you to interact with coworkers on the News Feed section. If you wish to remain anonymous to other users, do not complete the profile section. You may still access all information on TELUS Health without completing a profile. Use of the TELUS Health platform is unrelated to any other use of EAP. EAP services are completely confidential.
Option 2 (For employees or guests who do not wish to create a TELUS Health profile)
If you don't have your CWS credentials, you can log on as a guest without using single sign-on. This option can also be used for family members. No profile or information will be saved.
- Log onto login.lifeworks.com or download the TELUS Health One app.
- Find the login information for your country below (see GLOBAL HELPLINES) and use the appropriate username and password to access TELUS Health.
Option 3 (For family members who would like to create a TELUS Health profile)
- A Caterpillar employee with CWS credentials must access TELUS Health by logging onto caterpillar.lifeworks.com or downloading the TELUS Health One app.
- TELUS Health website: Hover over the profile icon located at the top right of the screen and navigate to Profile > Family > Invite Family Members > [enter email address] > Send Invitation.
- TELUS Health One app: Tap "Menu" (located at the bottom right of the screen), then navigate to Invite Family > Invite to TELUS Health > [enter email address] > Invite.
