LifeWorks
What is LifeWorks?
LifeWorks is the new digital platform for Caterpillar’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided by Morneau Shepell. LifeWorks can be accessed online or through the LifeWorks app, which can be downloaded for free in your device’s app store.
LifeWorks is available in 47 languages and includes 24/7 access to Caterpillar's confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Some of the features include:
- Local phone numbers for Caterpillar’s global EAP
- Easy access to EAP support through email or chat
- Information, self-assessments, and resources to support physical, emotional, social and financial well-being
- Newsfeed to help stay connected with other Caterpillar employees and families
- Invite family members to log on and create a profile
- Perks and savings (available in select locations)

How do I access LifeWorks?
If you are only searching for global EAP access phone numbers, see chart below or click here, then click “Get Help Now” on the right side of the screen.
Getting started with the LifeWorks digital platform is easy.
Option 1
- Log onto caterpillar.lifeworks.com or download the LifeWorks app.
- When prompted, enter your email address or company name (caterpillar)
- Click the blue “Let’s Go” button
- Enter your CWS credentials to log on with single sign-on.
- Click "Log In."
- Complete as much or little of your profile as you choose.
*Note: Completing a LifeWorks profile allows you to customize the site to your interests. Your profile makes you visible on LifeWorks and allows you to interact with coworkers on the News Feed section. If you wish to remain anonymous to other users, do not complete the profile section. You may still access all information on LifeWorks without completing a profile. Use of the LifeWorks platform is unrelated to any other use of EAP. EAP services are completely confidential.
Option 2
If you don't have your CWS credentials, you can log on as a guest without using single sign-on. This option can also be used for family members. No profile or information will be saved.
- Log onto login.lifeworks.com or download the LifeWorks app.
- Find the login information for your country below and use the appropriate username and password to access LifeWorks.
Option 3 (For family members who would like to create a LifeWorks profile)
- A Caterpillar employee with CWS credentials must access LifeWorks by logging onto caterpillar.lifeworks.com or downloading the LifeWorks app.
- LifeWorks website: Hover over the profile icon located at the top right of the screen and navigate to Profile > Family > Invite Family Members > [enter email address] > Send Invitation.
- LifeWorks app: Tap "More" (located at the bottom right of the screen), then navigate to Invite Family Member > Invite to LifeWorks > [enter email address] > Invite.
