Caterpillar recognizes the importance of maintaining good health. We also recognize the importance of resolving life’s challenges early, before they potentially have a negative impact on our lives at home and work.
Most of us have the support of our family, friends, neighbors or religious leaders. But speaking to a trained helping professional about a private concern is very common today. However, often when help is needed, it can be costly and difficult to locate.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, voluntary and completely confidential service provided to employees and their eligible family members to help meet many challenges at home and work.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services can assist with a variety of personal and health concerns. EAP is also a referral source for those in need - supervisory, peer or family member referrals.

EAP is always available by phone and online. In-person appointments are made promptly, typically within 3 working days or sooner in urgent situations.
As of January 1, 2019, EAP is available to all full-time and part-time Caterpillar employees and their legal dependents.
Eligibility for EAP may vary around the world. Benefit eligibility may be governed by HR policies, benefit plans and local law. EAP is generally available to all full-time and part-time employees who are eligible for Caterpillar benefits and their benefit-eligible family members.
