Employees seeking additional information on COVID-19 should access quality information from reputable sources such as the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or your local government’s health organization.

Please remember: if you are feeling ill, do not come to work.

Basic Prevention Measures

Please use these everyday prevention measures to help avoid the spread of viruses, including COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid contact with sick individuals.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing; use tissues if available and dispose of them in the trash.

COVID-19 SYMPTOMS

Symptoms of coronavirus infection include fever, cough and difficulty breathing. These symptoms may also occur with other viral illnesses, such as the common cold or flu, which makes it difficult to distinguish COVID-19 from other viral illnesses. Symptoms may appear in as little as 2 days or as long as 14 days after exposure.

If you think you may have symptoms of COVID-19, call your healthcare provider immediately. Take care of yourself and minimize the spread to others by staying home.
